Donna claims she's over David when she returns from a summer in Texas, but has an emotional breakdown when she sees him at a nightclub. Dylan's alcoholism has relapsed as he returns home after learning he is broke. Andrea and Jesse are finally able to bring home their daughter Hannah.

Dylan and Charlie seek backing for their film, and find it, but only if the backer's mistress can play the part. Ray comes along to Palm Springs, but ends up injuring Donna during a fight.

Meanwhile , Donna and Noah break up when he finds out she cheated on him with surfer Wayne. David explodes when he finds Gina and Dylan together.
